Club TSI

TSI
Based in Downtown Jacksonville, Club TSI hosts some of the most entertaining nights in the city. The atmosphere is regaled as one of the hot spots of our city. Little did we know that it would be a hot spot for the paranormal…

Upon getting the call from a representative of Club TSI, I must say I was shocked to hear of the situation. We were informed that many people have experienced strange phenomena, including physical touches and violent attacks. I myself encountered these phenomena during our investigation.

When we arrived, we interviewed Jennifer, who informed us that people have reported hearing voices, seeing a gentleman in 1900s attire walking amongst them, and feeling like they were “being groped.”

“I was standing in the front and it literally felt like someone was grabbing my breasts,” said Jennifer. She informed us of the history of the establishment prior to the club taking over. “We think it was a hotel and then we know it was a court house…the judge stood where the stage is now.”

The history is still shaky as to what the building housed in its beginnings. P.O.I. set out to see if any of its early inhabitants still lingered in the confines of the brick building.

Armed with new equipment, Cynder, Jade, Sean, Aleph, Drew, our guest Jennifer, and I locked ourselves in after the club closed for the evening. We set up three static cams and eight digital recorders throughout the premises in hopes of catching any residuals.

We began upstairs looking around the art and paper filled rooms. One thing caught my attention: a painting of a child. A very close-up painting of a face that just felt eerie. I snagged the KII and immediately it hit red, marking the first time we actually caught a spike that high that could not be explained. I moved all the paintings and checked around the one of the child, and there were no electrical outlets or electric anything around it. When I moved the KII from the painting, it faded to green. All around it was dead, but the painting itself hit red every time.

We all had experiences while at TSI, but one incident took the cake. Before we started, Jennifer had told of an entity that she said pushed people down the stairs. We were all very careful on them, and nothing had happened…until I had to get some equipment. With Drew tailing me, we brought down some of our new toys to play with. Upon my descent, I felt a swift ‘kick’ on the back of my right leg behind the knee. I felt myself buckle and flung myself backward so I would not tumble face first into the bikes that were at the foot of the stairs. I quickly jumped up and began yelling.

We all had extreme encounters throughout the night including being pinched, seeing shadows, hearing footsteps and shuffling, and even hearing voices. We will reveal much more in the Evidence Room once we are finished reviewing the content. We can say that from our collective experiences that TSI is indeed haunted. So the next time you are there to party, you may be dancing with more than just your friends.
